Der Stammtisch des Join Our Chain Projekts: Eine Plattform zum Austausch und Kennenlernen

Das Join Our Chain Projekt hat es sich zum Ziel gesetzt, weibliche Genitalverstümmelung sowie Zwangsheiraten ein Ende zu setzen. Community TrainerInnen aus betroffenen Communities klären in ihrer Gemeinschaft sowie Fachkräfte zu den beiden Themen auf, um präventiv vorzugehen. Inmitten der unermüdlichen Arbeit gegen schädigende Praktiken gegen Mädchen und Frauen, ist es aber auch wichtig, ab und an innezuhalten, gemeinsam an einem Tisch zu sitzen, und das Gemeinschaftsgefühl der Gruppe zu stärken.

Deshalb wurde der Stammtisch ins Leben gerufen, bei dem die Community TrainerInnen und MitarbeiterInnen des Join Our Chain Projekts regelmäßig zusammenkommen, um sich außerhalb des professionellen Rahmens auszutauschen und sich auf persönlicher Ebene besser kennenzulernen.

Der zweite Stammtisch fand in der Grand Bar inmitten des regen Treibens Berlins statt. Die Runde bestand aus fünf Community TrainerInnen, Projekt-MitarbeiterInnen und der Geschäftsführerin von TERRE DES FEMMES. Versorgt mit Getränken plauderte die Gruppe angeregt. Man teilte Sorgen, Wünsche und neue Ideen für die Weiterentwicklung des Projekts - und kam sich so wieder ein Stück näher.

Der Abend neigte sich dem Ende zu, und bestärkt darin, ihre engagierte Arbeit fortzusetzen, verabschiedeten sich die TeilnehmerInnen des Stammtisches in den Sommerabend… TERRE DES FEMMES bedankt sich bei allen, die da waren und freut sich bereits auf das nächste Treffen!

Am 12. August 2023 sehen sich dann alle in den Büroräumen von TERRE DES FEMMES zum 3. Workshop wieder!

The Join Our Chain Project’s Regulars Table: A Platform for Exchange and Getting to Know Each Other

The Join Our Chain Project aims to put an end to female genital mutilation and forced marriages. Community trainers from affected communities educate their members and key professionals about these issues to take preventive action. Amidst their tireless efforts to combat harmful practices against girls and women, it is equally important to pause occasionally, come together around a table, and strengthen the sense of community within the group.

Hence, the regulars table was initiated, where community trainers and staff of the Join Our Chain Project regularly gather to interact outside of a professional setting and get to know each other on a personal level.

The second regulars table took place at the Grand Bar amidst the bustling atmosphere of Berlin. The group consisted of five community trainers, project staff, and the managing director of TERRE DES FEMMES. Supplied with drinks, the participants engaged in lively conversations. They shared their concerns, aspirations, and new ideas for the project's advancement, thus growing closer as a team.

As the evening drew to a close, with renewed encouragement to continue their dedicated work, the attendees of the regular’s table bid farewell into the summer night... TERRE DES FEMMES extends gratitude to all who attended and looks forward to the next gathering!

On August 12, 2023, everyone will reconvene for the 3rd workshop at the TERRE DES FEMMES office.
